Where Vision, Craft, and Community Come Together
Goldorado Wines began with a simple idea: to create something truly our own. What started as conversations between vineyard rows and late-night tastings evolved into a family-run winery rooted in passion, collaboration, and a deep respect for the land.
With the support of friends and family, that idea grew into Goldorado—a place where craftsmanship meets heart, and where every bottle reflects the people behind it.
Our approach is guided by honesty, intention, and a belief that great wine should feel inviting, not exclusive.
Our Philosophy
At Goldorado, we believe luxury can be down-to-earth. True luxury isn’t about exclusivity—it’s about authenticity, generosity, and craft you can feel in the glass. Our wines offer richness without pretense, character without complication, and a quiet elegance meant to be enjoyed in real moments, not reserved for rare celebrations.
Crafted in small lots from California’s most celebrated sub-appellations, each bottle reflects the unique personality of the vineyard it comes from.
We work closely with growers who share our respect for the land, selecting sites where climate, soil, and thoughtful farming come together to create fruit with depth and distinction. Every wine becomes a snapshot of a place and a vintage—an honest expression of California at its best.
Meet the Winemaker
Every bottle of Goldorado is shaped by the vision and experience of winemaker Noel Basso. With 25 years in California wine country, Noel brings a rare depth of knowledge—from boutique cellar work to leading large-scale programs at some of the state's most respected wineries. Raised in Fresno's agricultural heartland and trained in enology at Fresno State, his approach blends technical precision with an intuitive understanding of what makes a wine memorable.
More Than a Winery
Goldorado is built on relationships—between the land and the craft, winemakers and growers, friends and family, and ultimately, wine and the people who share it. Every decision, from selecting the vineyard site to the final bottling, reflects a deep respect for these connections, ensuring that each wine carries the story of the people and places behind it.
For us, wine is more than a beverage—it is an experience designed to bring people together.
Whether enjoyed over a casual meal, celebrated during life’s milestones, or shared in quiet moments of reflection, each bottle invites conversation, connection, and the simple joy of raising a glass. By honoring the craft and the relationships that make it possible, Goldorado wines become a bridge—linking tradition with innovation, the vineyard with the table, and hearts with shared memories.
